Interactive videos with H5P

  • As useful as video is, it can still result in a passive viewing experience for students. As with all content, we want to make students’ experiences more interactive and create opportunities for checking understanding and providing feedback. This can be achieved by using the H5P Interactive Video content type. 
  • The H5P Interactive Video content type allows you to enrich video content further by adding interactive elements.
  • The Interactive video content type allows you to add interactions on top of video clips. Interactions such as images, elaborating text, links and quizzes pop up while the learner watches the video.
  • H5P tools are integrated into Moodle. You can create the content with H5P from the interactive content bank or add it as an H5P activity.
